These are trays that make it easy to find things in your home. All you have to do is pull them out. This is a lot easier than reaching down and looking for items that are deep within the recesses of the cabinets. The same is true of items that might larger or have fallen back. The user can take advantage of these trays to locate everything they might need when making a simple lunch or three-course meal. People can choose to buy ready-made trays. They can also find rollout trays that can be installed in their own home. Installation is easy and simple.

Choosing the Right Tray

Before doing anything else, choose the right tray. Examine the cabinets where you intend to install the tray. Measure several times. You want a sliding shelf that fits in nicely in your cabinets and doesn’t stick out or get stuck when you move it. Once you have the right tray, you’ll want to begin by removing everything inside of that cabinet. Make sure you have enough light so you can see inside it. You’ll also want to make sure you have everything you need on hand before you start. A drill, screws and mounting bits are essential. Then it’s time to get to work.

The Installation Process

The installation process is relatively straightforward. Align the brackets that come with the tray in place before you begin. Make sure the screws are in place and line up on each side. Now is the time to measure and mark the spaces where you’re going to put in the brackets and the screws. Use your drill or a screwdriver to attach the brackets to the side of the cabinet. They should be able to hold the brackets in place without moving. Attach the brackets to the drawer. The drawer should be able to slide in place easily. If this sticks, you can bring out some oil and make sure it slides well. The tray should be the size that you want without being too large for the cabinet. It should also not have any visible gaps between the tray and the overall cabinets.

Checking It

The draw should slide out with ease. If it does not, you might have to bring out the brackets and try again. Make new holes in the back of the cabinet. Then you can firmly attach the mounting brackets. The tray should fit on top of the rollers and make it easy to see where you’ve placed things on top of it. Pull the tray out and inspect it carefully. It should be firmly secured to the back of the cabinet and remain there without moving. A properly installed tray makes any kitchen more functional and easier to use.
